Designed for a standard 19-inch equipment rack, the Solar Series 2 chassis's efficient design permits effortless upgrades of onboard components. For added flexibility, use the chassis on a benchtop or on the workshop floor in our tower configuration. Both models provide horizontal mounting for up to two front accessible 5.25 inch drive bays, up to two front accessible 3.5 inch drive bays. All drives are mounted behind a locking front access door for security and protection from environmental hazards. The front panel controls and indicators are secured behind the locking front panel door. User controls include the system power switch and system reset switch. Front panel includes an indicator for disk drive activity.
